CF Industries Grants

A grant award in the amount of $2,500 is available annually for innovative classroom projects that incorporate agriculture or the environment, with top priority to projects that focus on water quality education.  Funds may be requested for a variety of uses, including field experiences, materials and equipment.  Awards are likely to range from $500 to $1,250, however, the size and number of awards will be based on the quality of applications submitted.  Educators in grades K-12 are eligible.                                                     Exec. Applicants must use the Grand Forks Foundation for Education Mini-Grant Application process.  Application deadline is October 15 and February 15 each year.

2008 Grant Award Recipient

Scott Johnson and the Grand Forks Public Schools fourth graders received $2,300 to attend a Water Festival field trip and Experience Agriculture projects.
